Another event I attended during Philly Beer Week was a beer and chocolate pairing at Iron Hill West Chester. Head brewer Larry Horwitz was on hand to pour his wonderful Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout along side some fantastic chocolates from Éclat Chocolate.

SAVOR 2010

This past Saturday was the 3rd annual SAVOR: An American craft beer and food experience!

SAVOR is one of my favorite days of the year. I’ve been to every one since its inception in 2008, and was ecstatic to be able to represent RateBeer this time around!

This past Sunday was the 6th annual Brewer’s Plate at the Penn Museum in Philadelphia. This phenomenal event, featuring Philadelphia’s premier local food and craft beer, was a fundraiser for Fair Food, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing locally grown food into the Philadelphia marketplace.
